In the Beginning

"I started my voice-over career almost by coincidence in 1993.

Being a full-time passionate musician, I was the principal trumpet player at the local symphony orchestra at the time (OSUANL). A friend, who used to produce for the city’s cultural TV station, urgently needed a male voice for dubbing a documentary on Opera, and thought I was her best option (…good thinker) because of my musical knowledge and knowledge of English.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and kept doing it as a hobby for some time.

Years later I was hired by a company that produces educational software, and by constantly visiting the local professional studios, I became gradually involved in other VO areas, such as Business presentations, Promos, Narrations, Commercials, and Dubbing, as well as script writing, proofreading, and translations.

After getting a Voice-over Diploma I obtained my VO license from the government. Now I have two passions: Music and Voice over."

Jorge has lived in the United States for the last 3 years (Seattle, WA., Austin, TX). During this time Jorge's English skills have excelled. He is able to assist his clients with English voice overs and English - Spanish - English translations. Spanish proofreading is also an additional service Jorge offers.
